Many thanks to all of the volunteers who were able to join us at the Bell Museum in March for the Awards and Recognition event to celebrate the good works done by RCMG volunteers in 2023.

Volunteer Recognition

Ramsey County is lucky to have such dedicated Master Gardener volunteers serving the community. Below are some exceptional examples of volunteers who have gone (far!) above and beyond the program's minimum expectations.


Local Recognition

RCMG recognizes those volunteers who blew the minimum expectations out of the water in 2023. If you see them this year, give them a high-five!



State Recognition

These University of MN Extension recognizes those volunteers who have dedicated a significant part of their lives to serving in the Master Gardener Volunteer Program.

 

2023 Master Gardener Volunteer Award Winners

RCMG offers a few forma awards each year to recognize a volunteer who has excelled in the community. These volunteers are nominated by their peers in RCMG. Nominations can be submitted at any time during the year but must be submitted before the end of the year to be considered.


Outstanding Intern Award

This is the first time an intern has been recognized for exceeding internship expectations. Look forward to watching this list grow over time!

Leonard Gloeb Outstanding Service Award

This award recognizes an individual Ramsey County Master Gardener member who has been selected as providing exceptional performance on a project; demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills or ability and has demonstrated significant and sustained community contribution.
